This is a national-level citizen-centric digital innovation competition organized by Dialog Axiata PLC. It aims to collect innovative digital solutions that address the challenges faced by individuals, businesses, and communities in Sri Lanka.
The competition is open to all Sri Lankans above the age of 16, who wish to develop innovative products and services for Sri Lanka. Participants can submit prototypes, MVPs (Minimum Viable Products), or fully developed solutions across various genres.
You can participate as a team (up to maximum 5 members) or submit your prototype as an individual applicant to the Dialog Innovation Challenge.
Yes! We encourage participants to register with their ideas, and later they can submit working prototypes for shortlisting. This approach allows us to track the progress and provide support in developing effective prototypes.

The Dialog Innovation Challenge is planned to run for 11 months. This extended program
period is designed to provide participants with ample time and comprehensive support to
progress from the early conceptual stages to fully deployable and practical solutions.

The Dialog Innovation Challenge consists of three selection rounds:

i. Initial Shortlisting: We select the top 25 teams with the most promising digital solutions and provide them with support and guidance.

ii. Semi Finals: From the shortlisted teams, we choose the best 10 teams to proceed to the product development phase.

iii. Grand Final: The winning teams will be selected based on their developed solutions and will be rewarded with valuable gifts and opportunities.

Submissions are evaluated by a panel of industry experts and ecosystem partners based on the innovativeness, relevance, feasibility, and potential impact of the solutions.

No. Dialog Innovation Challenge is open to submissions from all genres. You are encouraged to explore innovative solutions in various sectors, including (but not limited to) energy, transportation, logistics, food and agriculture, healthcare, security, sports and more.

Yes, you can use third-party platforms or technologies to develop your solutions. However, you must ensure compliance with relevant intellectual property rights and licensing agreements.

Yes, you will retain full ownership of your innovation even after submitting it to the Dialog Innovation Challenge.
